In 2018, customers in Egypt are digital-savvy, mobile ready and socially inclined. This means that organizations have to fuel up digital budgets and optimise customer experiences to cater to the technology-driven, socially empowered, on the-go customer.
Titled the largest number of internet users and the highest number of Facebook users in the MENA region, customers in Egypt are picking up on all digital forms of communication and are making transactions online. While, Facebook usage is in decline in Saudi, the number of Facebook users in Egypt is growing. We believe that this could have something to do with Egypt’s youthful population –
50% of the population under 25 years old.
